Neil W. Reid’s pastoral ministry began in a small rural town in Utica, New York in 1989, at the Community SDA Church. Since then, he has served in five other congregations and in three different conferences. Elder Reid received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Oakwood University, in Huntsville, Alabama. At Andrews University, in Berrien Springs, Michigan, he received a Master of Divinity degree. While at the United Theological Seminary, in Dayton, Ohio he received a Doctor of Ministry degree. He also completed Clinical Pastoral Education Level I & II at the Episcopal Theological Seminary.
He is currently the Ministerial Director of the Central Region of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. As often as his time allows, he enjoys preaching and giving seminars on a variety of topics. Elder Reid is also the Speaker/Director of HopeFort Ministries, which is a faith-based organization whose mission is to help modern minds discover wholesome solutions to the challenging social issues of our generation.
The consuming passion of Neil’s life and ministry is to “get the word out” about the soon return of Jesus Christ and to help nurture pastors and believers to do the same, through a compassionate lifestyle that reflects the vision, mission, and values of our Lord!
